Delivery
Cloudflare provides the website, downloads, and MCP endpoint. Technically necessary connection data is processed, including the IP address, time, requested address, and technical browser or client information. This processing supports the secure and reliable delivery of the service under the legitimate-interest basis in Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Cloudflare may process data outside the European Economic Area. Cloudflare’s contractual privacy terms and appropriate safeguards apply to those transfers. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy for more information.
Generator and MCP
The ordinary generator runs entirely in the browser. Form values are not sent to Website Starter. The MCP endpoint processes supplied values only long enough to create the requested ZIP file. There is no database or user account. The application code does not write submitted values to logs.
Messages sent to hello@websitestarter.org are forwarded to the controller’s mailbox through Cloudflare Email Routing. Message content and contact details are processed to answer the request. Depending on the request, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) or Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Data is deleted when it is no longer needed for the request unless a legal duty requires retention.
Cookies and analytics
Website Starter sets no cookies and uses no visitor analytics, advertising, external fonts, or embedded third-party content.
Rights and supervision
Data subjects may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing, and may withdraw consent. Requests can be sent to the email address above. A complaint may also be filed with a data-protection authority, in particular the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Access to Information Brandenburg.
